As we launch our mini-series, Jonny Holder investigates a theology of technology asking the question is technology good or bad and does it fit into the wider world and the lives of Christian believers.

Throughout the Bible we read God’s instructions and guidance on the gifts and resources he gives us, but how should we regard it and what should our priorities be?

On Easter Sunday Mosaic church was privileged to baptise 6 people during our celebrations. In his talk Jonny Holder uses Paul’s letter to the Romans (Chapter 6) to prepare consider the question if we’re ready to take the plunge. We then hear the testimonies from those who are being baptised.

Acts 28 famously ends abruptly and seemingly without a conclusion. This is because the work of God’s church through the power of the Holy Spirit continues, the book is still being written today. Listen to find out more!

Acts 27 – As part of his appeal to Caesar, Paul’s journey to Rome takes him on a treacherous journey across the sea. Whilst the account from Luke’s pen is factual, it’s no basic travelog! It teaches us much about the Christian life.

In Acts 24 we read of an encounter between Paul (the captive), Tertullus (the lawyer) and Governor Felix (the judge), each of whom had a different view of the same situation and knew how they wanted to apply it. It begs the question for us today, what do WE do with truth?

Acts 23 brings us to a moment where Paul, for the sake of the Gospel is embroiled in a dispute with the members of the Sanhedrin, caught between the doctrines of the Pharisees and the Sadducees. Yet it’s not Paul himself being called into question, it’s the matter of the resurrection of Jesus. What was the significance of the argument mean back then and what does it mean to us today?
